Our ever changing real estate market

Saturday's local newspaper said it best...the market is ever changing and segmented.  So, while many properties are languishing on the market and realtors are struggling, there are those locations that are moving like a hot loaf of bread.  For my investors, the central and west Phoenix market are hot items, many of these properties are being sold for cash and then rented. My buyer clients that are looking for upper end resales in the West Chandler, South Tempe and Ocotillo area are finding it tough, with the nicer properties getting multiple offers.  I was at a home on Saturday in West Chandler with a buyer, home was priced at $300,000 and it looked like a popular garage sale with the number of agents and buyers that were going in and out.  So, stay tuned to see what will happen to our market over the next few months...at least it will be interesting!
